Jackson and the "Jackson for Hamden" committee invites Hamden residents to join us Tuesday, August 30th, from 5pm -8pm, at the Keefe Community Center, 11 Pine St. for one of the largest back to school events in recent history. Mayor Jackson, along with event co-hosts Councilman Ossie Brown, Councilwoman Kathleen Schomaker, Councilman Michael Colaiacovo and council candidate Berita Rowe, will be offering free school supplies to students in need. Free school supplies will be given out, including: Bags, Notebooks, Pencils, Rulers and more! This is a FREE event for the community and you do not have to pre-register. Hamden residents must provide photo I.D. and proof of residency for onsite registration.
