Sunday debate at Mishkan Israel
HAMDEN -- The Brotherhood of Men & Women of Congregation Mishkan Israel will mix bagels, lox and politics Sunday during its annual political forum at the temple at 785 Ridge Road.
The candidates for mayor of Hamden and first selectman of North Haven will appear at the forum. Breakfast is at 9:30 a.m. and the program starts at 10, according to moderator Paul Knapp.
The candidates are incumbent Democratic Hamden mayor Scott D. Jackson, Republican Matthew Corcoran and Independent Charles Baltayan. Also expected to participate are the North Haven candidates: Republican incumbent First Selectman Michael J. Freda, Democrat Walter Spader and Independent Gary Amato.
