TIRE POND MEETING RE-SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 12th

WHO: State Senator Len Fasano, Rep. Steve Fontana, Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection officials, local officials, members of the public

WHAT: At the request of State Senator Len Fasano and State Representative Steve Fontana, the state Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has agreed to attend a public hearing on Tire Pond on Tuesday, October 12^th at 7:15 in the North Haven Library Community Room. The hearing was originally scheduled for October 6^th, but has been re-scheduled to the 12^th. DEP plans to address concerns regarding how the material is to be moved to the site, the nature of the material, the testing of material, and the standards used to determine suitability of the materials.
