Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser at Dunbar Church

A pancake breakfast will be held on Saturday, November 20 from 8AM to Noon at Dunbar United Church of Christ in Hamden.  All proceeds of the event will benefit the scholarship fund of College Doctrina Vitae (CDV).

CDV, a private secondary school located in Ndera, Rwanda, provides educational opportunities for students directly impacted by the Rwandan genocide, as well as younger generations that are indirectly affected.  The school will not turn any student away and houses the majority of students on their campus.  The curriculum at CDV provides students with an honest and impartial national history and encourages extracurricular activities structured around the needs of a community that is trying to rebuild after genocide.

Suggested donations for the pancake breakfast are $5 for adults (16 and over), and $3 for school aged children.  Children aged four and under are free.  Donations are welcome the day of the event.  Dunbar United Church of Christ is located at
