JOIN THE CROWD IN NORTH HAVEN

The Republican Town Committee is sponsoring a patriotic rally on the Green on Church Street at noon on Saturday Oct. 30.
Prior to the start of the rally, a caravan displaying signs of the candidates will be driving through town. Patriotic music will be playing as well and a voice will be announcing people to join them at the Green at noon. All candidates and the public are invited.
Lots of flags will be displayed and there will be a patriotic sing-along.
Area candidates who are running will be speaking, but about what it's like to live in America.
Mr. Bob the Music Man will be playing the music.

At the same time on Oct. 30, doggies in all their finery will be gathering near Whitney and Dixwell Avenue for the annual Halloween  Pet Parade to raise money for the Happy Tails Foundation. Registration is $10 and begins at 11. Parade starts at noon. Judging is at 1. Info? 203-640-3107.
