Building Will Close During Installation

Installation of a new air-handler unit is scheduled to begin Monday, January 10 at Brundage-Community Branch Library,
91 Circular Ave, Hamden
.  Officials say the project will take three to four days to complete. Hamden Library Director, Bob Gualtieri has arranged for the library building to be closed to the public on Monday January 10 and Tuesday, January 11.  This branch is not regularly open on Wednesdays and those who wish to use the it on Thursday should call 287-2675 after 10 a.m. to be sure the building has reopened.
Loan periods for materials borrowed at the Brundage-Community Branch will be extended so that no items will be due during the time the building is closed. Both Miller Memorial Library at 2901 Dixwell Avenue and Whitneyville Branch Library at 125 Carleton Street will remain open their regular hours during this period and electronic services can be accessed through the library’s website at www.hamdenlibrary.org.
