The folks at the Hamden Elks Lodge were serving up corned beef for St. Patrick's Day. The full monty was Wednesday night and the crowds came in on Thursday for corned beef sandwiches, adorned with homemade potato salad, cole slaw, pickles and horseradish and mustard. They'll be serving the sandwiches until 7:30 or so tonight, so get right over to the lodge at 175 School St. for some scrumptious grub.
