Mayor Scott Jackson and the Hamden Veterans Commission announce that this year's Veterans Day Ceremony will be held at noon Sunday, Nov. 13, at the Veterans Monument at the Hamden Middle School, 2623 Dixwell Ave.

In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held at the Elks Lodge, 175 School St.  

Following the ceremony, the Elks Lodge will host a Veterans luncheon beginning at 1 p.m. Everyone is welcome at this event, and the cost of the dinner is $10. Tickets may be obtained from Jane Parks, 203-248-7360.
