SIDEWALK SNOW REMOVAL

Hamden – Please be reminded that all homeowners and business owners are responsible for the

clearing of sidewalks which abut their property within 24 hours after snow fall stops. This includes clearing of sidewalks on corners for access to the street. If you are unable to clear the snow or ice after a reasonable effort, you must spread an abrasive substance on the sidewalk to ensure that it is safe for pedestrian travel.
