No School in North Haven Thursday

NORTH HAVEN -- Public schools will be closed in North Haven on Thursday, according to interim Superintendent of Schools Patricia K. Brozek.
The decision was based on safety and weather conditions, considering the town received 30 inches of snow during the storm.
Brozek said piles of snow at corners are causing sight line difficulties. She made the decision to close schools again Thursday after consulting with town public works and school transportation personnel.
"It's the best decision."
A decision of whether to postpone Thursday night's Board of Education meeting will be made Thursday during the day, she said.
