The students of St. Rita Middle School of Hamden are preparing for their upcoming production of Bye Bye Birdie. Shows are scheduled for April 13 –April 16  at the school, 1601 Whitney Ave. Students in grades six through eight have worked together on every aspect of the play from set construction and painting to lights and sound and, of course, acting and singing. Julie Mountcastle is directing.

St. Rita School invites everyone to see the show. Opening night, Wednesday, April 13, will begin at 6:00 pm in the school gymnasium. The remaining shows, Thursday through Saturday, will begin at 7:00 pm.
